Walmyr Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vítor Luz sped through Derribadinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Walmyr Mota. During the 60th minute of the match Válter Oliveira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Válter Oliveira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 62 minutes into the match, Derribadinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Luz came free, but Walmyr Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
