MaconhaFC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Laguna Sunrise FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guto Gomes took the corner. 25 minutes into the game, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Laguna Sunrise FC's Paulinho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 27th minute. MaconhaFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Laguna Sunrise FC the free kick. Dário Palmeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Guto Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MaconhaFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Manfredo Nóbrega hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Guto Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. MaconhaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto Gomes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Manfredo Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dário Palmeira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Laguna Sunrise FC's Juan Andrade shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-8 in the ordered_time% minute. Laguna Sunrise FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
