In the 29th minute, Tomas Herruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 34 minutes into the game, Flinston FC - DMZ's Tomas Herruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Fonseca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Teodoro Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Herruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivo FC's Teodoro Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Herruz in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Ivo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tião Donatello came free, but Teodoro Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Flinston FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ivo FC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Tomas Herruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flinston FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Teodoro Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Herruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 minutes, Tião Donatello made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Ivo FC's Teodoro Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Flinston FC - DMZ's Rogerio Fontarigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Antunes in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Herruz in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Fonseca saved Ivo FC from getting behind. Ivo FC's Teodoro Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Herruz in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Tomas Herruz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Fonseca. Ivo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Herruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Flinston FC - DMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
