Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luisão Dantas made the kick off and thus started the match. Guerreiros FC's Hamílton Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goyanninha FC's Romário Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Sarmento in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Goyanninha FC's goalkeeper Romário Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Carlos Fernando de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guerreiros FC's Hamílton Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jailson Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gernando de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 26 minutes, Hamílton Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerreiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamílton Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Luisão Dantas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jailson Ramalho. After 33rd play minutes Luisão Dantas shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jailson Ramalho and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Gugu Sarmento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romário Lara was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Gugu Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Hamílton Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Guerreiros FC's Jailson Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando de Carvalho in the 52nd minute of play. Romário Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Sarmento in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Goyanninha FC's zone, Hamílton Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romário Lara came out of the goal and Hamílton Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luisão Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute of the match Ciro Falcão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romário Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 minutes of play, Goyanninha FC's Gernando de Carvalho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jailson Ramalho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hamílton Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gugu Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerreiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gugu Sarmento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Goyanninha FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Manuel Nunes hit a great ball. Chicão Pires hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A long shot from Moisés Marquez in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but Romário Lara made a really good save at the right post. Hamílton Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Romário Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando de Carvalho in the 90th minute of play forced Guerreiros FC's goalkeeper Jailson Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Gugu Sarmento who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goyanninha FC's Romário Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romário Lara was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Gugu Sarmento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gugu Sarmento really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Goyanninha FC had won after a very even match.
