NEUTRINOS de PANKU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiaguinho Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Nogueira got free with Alfredinho Domingues in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Coxa Doido's Válter Gomes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Alagoano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Adalberto Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tostão Arruda struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alfredinho Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEUTRINOS de PANKU. Dênis Soeiro's late challenge caught a Coxa Doido's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dênis Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of NEUTRINOS de PANKU:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coxa Doido:s goal. 16 minutes into the game, Gustavo de Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sandro Alagoano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Adalberto Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEUTRINOS de PANKU's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredinho Domingues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvaldo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sandro Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Nogueira got free with Alfredinho Domingues in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandro Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Castro in the 30th minute of the match. Carlos Nogueira took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Domingues. Alfredinho Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Edvaldo Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Alagoano was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Alfredinho Domingues made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Carlos Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tostão Arruda in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Válter Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tostão Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Domingues having to interfere. Tiaguinho Nascimento hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Válter Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NEUTRINOS de PANKU made a substitution. Vítor Seco replaced Carlos Nogueira. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Arruda to make the kick off. NEUTRINOS de PANKU's Vítor Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Válter Gomes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandro Alagoano, 1-2. NEUTRINOS de PANKU's Sandro Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Gomes in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Tiaguinho Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Caco Maranhense put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in NEUTRINOS de PANKU fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Sandro Alagoano was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Válter Gomes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Válter Gomes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. NEUTRINOS de PANKU's Sandro Alagoano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save NEUTRINOS de PANKU from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Gomes in the 78th minute of play forced NEUTRINOS de PANKU's goalkeeper Sandro Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to NEUTRINOS de PANKU getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ian Faria hit a great ball. Sandro Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The supporters of Coxa Doido booed when NEUTRINOS de PANKU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Coxa Doido's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
