Evol FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durvalino Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisão Loyola took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Borges. Glauco Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Otávio Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glauco Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 14 minutes, Luisão Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Cerezo in the 20th minute of play forced Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper Glauco Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evol FC's Luisão Loyola in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lepo Lepo FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Luisão Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Durvalino Andrade's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Glauco Borges was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Luisão Loyola struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Glauco Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evol FC. 38 minutes into the game, Evol FC's Otávio Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glauco Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Otávio Teles took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Glauco Borges. Glauco Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Delfim Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisão Loyola was the one to do the kick off. If Jeferson Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Evol FC's Luisão Loyola slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glauco Borges. That made the score 0-6 after 55 minutes of play. Otávio Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Borges having to interfere. If Durvalino Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Loyola had several of the Lepo Lepo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Glauco Borges as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luisão Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Glauco Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Durvalino Andrade recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glauco Borges. Durvalino Andrade showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Durvalino Andrade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Lepo Lepo FC's João Vítor Martins got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lepo Lepo FC's Glauco Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Loyola in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Lepo Lepo FC's goalkeeper Glauco Borges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otávio Teles. Glauco Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio Teles in the 83rd minute. When Giovani Arantes came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lepo Lepo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giovani Arantes couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Evol FC's Otávio Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glauco Borges made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Evol FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lepo Lepo FC.
