The audience was convinced that Percival Mello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Arce was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Otávio Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Percival Mello got free with Geovânio Arce in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Pakovah F.C.'s Geovânio Arce threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Percival Mello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Pakovah F.C.'s Juninho Koehler got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 70 played minutes Evol FC got a freekick which was hit by Rune Lundberg. In the 71st minute of the match Sílvio Luís Quintal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovânio Arce skillfully saved the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Pakovah F.C.'s Percival Mello made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovânio Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Percival Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Geovânio Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Loyola in the 96th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Luisão Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pakovah F.C. played a much better game than Evol FC and deserved their victory. The Evol FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
