Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haroldo Massa started the match with the kick off. Wilson Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Godoi during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes GT Imortais FC got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Godoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Romero in the 13th minute of play forced GT Imortais FC's goalkeeper Davi Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davi Neiva made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Haroldo Massa sent off a good shot on target. Davi Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Massa in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Botelho in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Durval Dracena saved União Esporte Club from getting behind. Cláudio Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Haroldo Massa fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Esporte Club's protests and gave Haroldo Massa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, União Esporte Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Massa to maneuver through the defense. Durval Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Durval Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Botelho in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Evaristo Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Durval Dracena. União Esporte Club's Durval Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Botelho in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, União Esporte Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Botelho came free, but Durval Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half GT Imortais FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
