The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márcio Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's zone, Márcio Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Albuquerque came out of the goal and Márcio Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Robinho Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Nelson Albuquerque made a huge save. Nelson Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robinho Moreira in the 63rd minute of the match. Márcio Vidal had several of the MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Nelson Albuquerque as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 66 played minutes MAIS TRADICIONAL FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Travassos. A hard shot by Mauro Quintal from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Nelson Albuquerque's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Nelson Albuquerque got control of the ball when Márcio Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Robinho Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAIS TRADICIONAL FC's Nelson Albuquerque was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Terreiro getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cléber Gonçalves hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Claudinei Cunha sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Mota skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Terreiro's William Travassos got a free kick in the 95th minute.
