With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Munhoz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmo Peixoto was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Agostinho Prado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Prado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Prado in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronaldo de Medeiros's late challenge caught a HUMBLE LIONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldo de Medeiros helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, one of Carcanha SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carcanha SC.

The wind increased when Agostinho Prado made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carcanha SC's goalkeeper Dalmo Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carcanha SC's Dalmo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Prado in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Carcanha SC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Doni Ortiz hit a great ball. Agostinho Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Sydney do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carcanha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sydney do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Sydney do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Lucas Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HUMBLE LIONS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Lucas Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. HUMBLE LIONS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agostinho Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lucas Sergipano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmo Peixoto was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Henrique Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HUMBLE LIONS's Francisco Munhoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save HUMBLE LIONS from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HUMBLE LIONS had won after a very even match.
