The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Mirinzal AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corinthians:s goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juarês de Sousa during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mirinzal AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Juarês de Sousa hit a great ball. Ademar Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Massa in the 12th minute of the match. Jerônimo Lago's late challenge caught a Corinthians's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerônimo Lago helped the player get up and apologised. Jerônimo Lago hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Natã Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ademar Urbano came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians's Elder de Queirós. But to his dismay, Elder de Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ademar Urbano made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Elder de Queirós sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Lúcio Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juarês de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Galvão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Elder de Queirós could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Ademar Urbano however easily saved by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamílton Massa to make the kick off. Ademar Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Massa in the 52nd minute of play. Guilherme Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ademar Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Mirinzal AD's goal looked a bit too open when Elder de Queirós came free, but Ademar Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Massa in the 62nd minute of play forced Mirinzal AD's goalkeeper Ademar Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Jerônimo Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mirinzal AD's Ademar Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Donatello in the 85th minute of play. Nuno Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Natã Galvão made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Juarês de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Corinthians were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mirinzal AD for a fine match.
