Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mané Campidelis made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mané Campidelis in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caipe SC's Valério Linhares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Caipe SC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Grossas AD booed when Caipe SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Melo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Caipe SC's Egídio Mattos. But to his dismay, Egídio Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valério Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Mazza in the 15th minute of the match. If Egídio Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Mazza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Grossas AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Valério Linhares managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Grossas AD's Zeca Cearense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zeca Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Linhares having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Serginho Mesquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caipe SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grossas AD the free kick. 35 minutes into the game, one of Caipe SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th match minute, Grossas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Guilherme Vergílio to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Toninho Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Ferreira, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 53 minutes, Zeca Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grossas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Cearense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mané Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Melo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Caipe SC defense, Zeca Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valério Linhares. The Caipe SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valério Linhares should have stopped the shot. If Zeca Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71stth minute of the game Gabriel Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caipe SC's Valério Linhares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gabriel Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Grossas AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Mazza couldn't finish the play. Caipe SC's Egídio Mattos got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Gabriel Mazza sped through Caipe SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valério Linhares. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomé Aparecido during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Caipe SC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Aparecido. In the 91st minute Gabriel Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valério Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Grossas AD getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gabriel Mazza hit a great ball. When Telmo Tande was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played.
