Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sílvio Valle made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Valle in the 3rd minute of play forced CF Nascy United's goalkeeper Geovânio de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Furlan in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Lagarto getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Edgard Corrêa hit a great ball. Lagarto's Nando Urbano got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geovânio de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Hélder Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Francisco de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lagarto getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Haroldo Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Lagarto got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Corrêa. Hélder Liras short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Remo do Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The CF Nascy United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lagarto were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Lira to make the kick off. If Sílvio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovânio de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lagarto's Sílvio Valle. But to his dismay, Sílvio Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 61 played minutes Lagarto got a freekick which was hit by Zé Quirino. Remo do Vale came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Nascy United's Hélder Lira. But to his dismay, Hélder Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Furlan got free with Geovânio de Queiroz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute, Haroldo Furlan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geovânio de Queiroz, passed just outside the right post. CF Nascy United's Geovânio de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Valle in the 85th minute of play. Remo do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, CF Nascy United's Guto Goiano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remo do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Zé Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lagarto getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
