Gil Sergipano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Júlio Aparecido firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Sanches was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dedé Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Aparecido was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Gil Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederico de Brito hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Gil Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, União flasco's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Sergipano came free, but Júlio Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico de Brito hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Nelson Camargo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Aparecido. Júlio Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rondônia Fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of União flasco for a fine match.
