The audience was convinced that Jairo Rumaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gernando Rossi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Quadros to make the kick off. Yan Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 2-2 became the score in the 68th minute when Juarês Vale elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Wellington Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ronaldão Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Oeste Barueri Andrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Augusto Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Ortiz couldn't finish the play. Qijua F.C's Douglas Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 94th minute of play. Qijua F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
