Franklin Pombal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cléberson Alves. 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Wilian Quadros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Cearense, 1-3. Toninho do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Albertinho Borges recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Cearense. Albertinho Borges showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 71 minutes into the game, Toninho do Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Daniel Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamond Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nico Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Cearense made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Wilian Quadros sent off a good shot on target.
