The penalty shot was made by Elói Ceresso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Homossexual Futebol Clube's Gilberto Veiga. 0-1. The supporters of Tucumduba booed when Homossexual Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Sergipano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chicão Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tucumduba's Geraldo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo de Sena in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tucumduba's goalkeeper Geraldo Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilvan da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Leopoldo Baptista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Geraldo Couto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo de Sena in the 27th minute of play forced Tucumduba's goalkeeper Geraldo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Homossexual Futebol Clube's Tiago Britto to fire away a dangerous shot which Geraldo Couto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Leopoldo Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguinho Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Veiga having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tucumduba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Homossexual Futebol Clube.
