Júlio Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Magno de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Carioca came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by AUGE FC's Jerônimo Oliveira. With a little luck, AUGE FC's Abel Maranhense got control of the ball when Víktor Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar do Vale in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Fura bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Gerber. The audience was convinced that Jerônimo Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Carioca was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Fernandes during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
