Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Fernandes started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cafu Martins. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 6th minute, Oswaldo Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Corinthians Cacau Show's Cafu Martins got control of the ball when Doriva Reis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Corinthians Cacau Show's Cafu Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Cacau Show from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani de Senna in the 10th minute of play forced Capanema EC's goalkeeper Frédson Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Doriva Reis took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Cafu Martins to make any attempt to save it. If Miguel Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Corinthians Cacau Show got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo da Fonseca. 22 minutes into the game, Miguel Fernandes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cafu Martins. Miguel Fernandes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Prata in the 26th minute of play forced Capanema EC's goalkeeper Frédson Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 5-0 became the score in the 39th minute when Miguel Fernandes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Doriva Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomás Prata made a kick off. Doriva Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Capanema EC were furious when Duda Fantini was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 56 minutes into the game, one of Capanema EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st match minute, Capanema EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Trigo to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Wellington de Moraes from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Frédson Paraíba's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cafu Martins came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Capanema EC's José Carlos da Mata. But to his dismay, José Carlos da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 70th minute, one of Corinthians Cacau Show:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Corinthians Cacau Show. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Capanema EC. Silvério Ceresso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cafu Martins. 7-1. Cafu Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. A collision led to Corinthians Cacau Show getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Oswaldo Mattos hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Ceresso during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Capanema EC! The referee gave Corinthians Cacau Show a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Gustavo da Fonseca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Capanema EC's Frédson Paraíba. 7-2. Cafu Martins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavinho de Lara went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Eliézer Pontes struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Frédson Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Cacau Show. Miguel Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Martins having to interfere. Capanema EC's Frédson Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Prata in the 97th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Thomás Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians Cacau Show's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomás Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Capanema EC fully deserved thier win.
