Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Filipe de Sousa made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Corinthians Cacau Show booed when Ponta Grossa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wellington Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Júnior Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Martins having to interfere. Wellington Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ponta Grossa F.C's Filipe de Sousa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cafu Martins. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Pontes in the 27th minute of play forced Ponta Grossa F.C's goalkeeper Wellington Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomás Prata in the 29th minute of the match. Cláudio Martins's late challenge caught a Corinthians Cacau Show's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Martins helped the player get up and apologised. Vitinho Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Oswaldo Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians Cacau Show's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauan Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Wellington Zanette came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians Cacau Show's Thomás Prata. But to his dismay, Thomás Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wellington Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Mattos in the 44th minute of play. Wellington Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliézer Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corinthians Cacau Show's Cafu Martins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians Cacau Show from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomás Prata made a kick off. Geovani de Senna hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Júnior Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Martins having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Jailson Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cafu Martins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wellington Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Júnior Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ponta Grossa F.C were furious when Wesley Vasconcelos was red carded, 80 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Ponta Grossa F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ponta Grossa F.C. The referee gave Corinthians Cacau Show a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Gustavo da Fonseca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ponta Grossa F.C's Wellington Zanette. 2-2. When Jailson Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ponta Grossa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jailson Rocha couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Thomás Prata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wellington Zanette, 2-3. Jailson Rocha took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Martins. Cafu Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Despite being the better team, Corinthians Cacau Show failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
