Gilmar Sena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Milanos Fc booed when Biguassu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilmar Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fabiano de Lima had several of the Biguassu AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Joel da Silveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Biguassu AD's zone, Luís Fabiano de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel da Silveira came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Milanos Fc's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Passos came free, but Ademar Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Passos in the 31st minute of play forced Milanos Fc's goalkeeper Ademar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Biguassu AD's José Maria Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Jonas Santana made a precise shot to the right of Joel da Silveira. Biguassu AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Biguassu AD's supporters rose to their feet, but José Maria Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco de Medeiros hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ruy Dionísio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel da Silveira. Biguassu AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Fabiano de Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano de Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. When Diogo Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Biguassu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Esteves couldn't finish the play. Jonas Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel da Silveira having to interfere. Diogo Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ademar Quadros made a huge save. Milanos Fc's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
