To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Fabiano de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soccer Novice's Gilson Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luiz Salgado got free with Ademar Quadros in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frédson do Nascimento hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Luís Fabiano de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milanos Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademar Quadros came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Soccer Novice's André Luiz Salgado. But to his dismay, André Luiz Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luís Fabiano de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mathias Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Luís Fabiano de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. André Luiz Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ademar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jefferson Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Milanos Fc's Ademar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Salgado in the 63rd minute of play. Luís Fabiano de Lima took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Ceresso. Mathias Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 69 played minutes Milanos Fc got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Cordeiro. Jonas Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Soccer Novice getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Benjamim de Godoi hit a great ball. André Luiz Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fabiano de Lima in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mathias Ceresso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When André Luiz Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Soccer Novice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luiz Salgado couldn't finish the play. If Gilson Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, André Luiz Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soccer Novice's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luiz Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ademar Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Salgado in the 97th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
