Coiotêra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elano Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elano Cerezo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Coiotêra FC's protests and gave Duarte Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Coiotêra FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Coiotêra FC's Edgar Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim de Godoi in the 69th minute of play. Mathias Ceresso came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Coiotêra FC's Elano Cerezo. But to his dismay, Elano Cerezo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bebeto Palmeira got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th minute, Bebeto Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Gilson Brito took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Edgar Negri to make any attempt to save it. Despite this Mathias Ceresso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 91 minutes into the match, Coiotêra FC's goalkeeper Edgar Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Luiz Salgado. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soccer Novice's goalkeeper Mathias Ceresso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
