Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sebastião Abraão kicked off to start the match. Júlio Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tales Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CORINTHIANS's zone, Kaká Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales Veloso came out of the goal and Kaká Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the game, Cacarongonga's Júlio Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tales Veloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Valdemar Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Silveira in the 23rd minute. In the 34th minute, Júlio Lara made a precise shot to the right of Tales Veloso. CORINTHIANS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Kaká Santos struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Tales Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacarongonga. Tales Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Augusto Salgado in the 42nd minute of play forced CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Tales Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Miranda to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Lara to make the kick off. When Yan Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cacarongonga's protests and gave Yan Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. Yan Pimenta hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Sebastião Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Lara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tales Veloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Pedro Augusto Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cacarongonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Augusto Salgado couldn't finish the play. Rubinho Miranda hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Pedro Augusto Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-3 became the score in the 61st minute when Júlio Lara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Benjamin Silveira got a free kick in the 66th minute. Júlio Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Tales Veloso made a huge save. Tales Veloso was a little too slow when Júlio Lara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Júlio Lara sped through CORINTHIANS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tales Veloso. Júlio Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastião Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Sebastião Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Júlio Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacarongonga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
