Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anderson Barbosa took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Anderson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Anderson Barbosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adriano da Cunha. Anderson Barbosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Cascaralhado F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Lira to maneuver through the defense. When Anderson Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Massuim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Barbosa couldn't finish the play. After 14 minutes, Dagoberto Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Massuim and the Cascaralhado F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cascaralhado F.C booed when Massuim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráusio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Massuim's Dagoberto Dantas got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Massuim's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Catarinense came free, but Dráusio Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Anderson Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Massuim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Nestor Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anderson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Massuim fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Massuim's Anderson Barbosa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 42nd minute of play forced Cascaralhado F.C's goalkeeper Adriano da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Artur Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Haroldo Lira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráusio Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Massuim's Anderson Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Cascaralhado F.C's Adriano da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascaralhado F.C's goalkeeper Adriano da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cascaralhado F.C's zone, Anderson Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano da Cunha came out of the goal and Anderson Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nestor Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Anderson Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Juarês Vinhas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dráusio Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anderson Barbosa's late challenge caught a Cascaralhado F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anderson Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Massuim's Anderson Barbosa got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Adriano da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Barbosa in the 84th minute of the match. Juarês Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Juarês Vinhas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Dráusio Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Massuim getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dagoberto Dantas hit a great ball. Dráusio Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Catarinense in the 92nd minute of the match. Samuca Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Massuim players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
