Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodolfo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Barbosa in the 8th minute of the match. Rodolfo Velasco came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Massuim's Nestor Almeida. But to his dismay, Nestor Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wilson Carvalho charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilson Carvalho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GATO GALATICO getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Wilson Carvalho hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, GATO GALATICO's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Almeida came free, but Rodolfo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagoberto Dantas in the 18th minute of play forced GATO GALATICO's goalkeeper Rodolfo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Nestor Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rodolfo Velasco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, GATO GALATICO's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Pinheiro came free, but Rodolfo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Anderson Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Dantas in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Olavo Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GATO GALATICO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Massuim the free kick. Rodolfo Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rodolfo Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Barbosa in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Pedrinho Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Anderson Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Pedrinho Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Dráusio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GATO GALATICO's Rodolfo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save GATO GALATICO from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Velasco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anderson Barbosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Massuim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Netto to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the game, Nestor Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Velasco. Nestor Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Nestor Almeida came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Velasco could save by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Massuim's Adilson Prata broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, GATO GALATICO's Chico Tande got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Anderson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GATO GALATICO's Wilson Carvalho got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Adilson Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Velasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Dantas in the 87th minute. With a little luck, GATO GALATICO's Rodolfo Velasco got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Almeida got free with Rodolfo Velasco in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. GATO GALATICO's Rodolfo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save GATO GALATICO from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute of the match, Nestor Almeida got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rodolfo Velasco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match was over Massuim could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GATO GALATICO throughout the match.
