Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Massuim's zone, Amílton de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Ferreira came out of the goal and Amílton de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The E.C SM fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when E.C SM's Horácio Mazza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Clemente Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. E.C SM's Nicolas Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save E.C SM from getting a goal against them. After 21 minutes, Falcão França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Massuim and the E.C SM players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 23rd minute of play forced E.C SM's goalkeeper Nicolas Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Nicolas Pinho made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Horácio Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Ferreira was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Horácio Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 33rd minute of the match Falcão França completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Falcão França a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nestor Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. E.C SM's Nicolas Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save E.C SM from getting a goal against them. Nestor Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Nicolas Pinho made a huge save. E.C SM's Nicolas Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enéas Pinheiro in the 44th minute of play. Nicolas Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Pinheiro in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horácio Mazza made a kick off. Luís Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, Massuim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Peres to maneuver through the defense. When Nestor Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Massuim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Almeida couldn't finish the play. Nestor Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nicolas Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horácio Mazza succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The supporters of Massuim booed when E.C SM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Pinheiro during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nestor Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Pinho having to interfere. Nicolas Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 85 played minutes E.C SM got a freekick which was hit by Igor Pernambucano. In the 88th minute Nestor Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Mazza in the 91st minute of play forced Massuim's goalkeeper Dráusio Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Massuim's Anderson Barbosa got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Nestor Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The E.C SM players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
