Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claudinho Melo took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Claudinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute Nestor Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Barbosa in the 11th minute of the match. Dráusio Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Burieta SS's Pedrão Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Barbosa in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Massuim got a freekick which was hit by Enéas Pinheiro. In the 19th minute, Breno Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedrão Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Massuim booed when Burieta SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Anderson Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Massuim and the Burieta SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Massuim's Anderson Barbosa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dráusio Ferreira came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Burieta SS's Breno Arce. But to his dismay, Breno Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Breno Arce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Dráusio Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Claudinho Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burieta SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinho Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráusio Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Burieta SS's zone, Nestor Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrão Bastos came out of the goal and Nestor Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Anderson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Massuim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudinho Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dráusio Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anderson Barbosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedrão Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Anderson Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Burieta SS's Erivaldo Rossi got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Anderson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massuim's supporters rose to their feet, but Anderson Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrão Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Gilvan Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrão Bastos made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nestor Almeida sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Burieta SS's Lino Neves got a free kick in the 79th minute. Anderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breno Arce in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráusio Ferreira saved Massuim from getting behind. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burieta SS's goalkeeper Pedrão Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilvan Magalhães hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Anderson Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Massuim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anderson Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Massuim booed when Burieta SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burieta SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
