Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anderson Barbosa kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Massuim's goalkeeper Dráusio Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Claudinho Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pedrão Bastos made a huge save. Pedrão Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Anderson Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Pedrão Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Massuim's Anderson Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedrão Bastos. Pedrão Bastos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Breno Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 played minutes Burieta SS got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Melo. In the 30th minute, Burieta SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anderson Barbosa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedrão Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Anderson Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Pedrão Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Breno Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burieta SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Claudinho Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enéas Pinheiro during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Burieta SS's Olívio Macedo got a free kick in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Adilson Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Massuim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Massuim's Dráusio Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Melo in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Neves got free with Dráusio Ferreira in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilvan Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Nestor Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Massuim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Claudinho Melo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Breno Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nestor Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Massuim got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Dantas. Dráusio Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Breno Arce sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Anderson Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. A hard shot by Olívio Macedo from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Dráusio Ferreira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Massuim walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
