The audience thought a goal was coming when Vágner Costa got free with Florentino Ospin in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 5th minute, Mané Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Fabrício do Nascimento. Morere's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Samuca Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Morere getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Vágner Costa hit a great ball. After 19th play minutes Claudinho Teles shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Fabrício do Nascimento and just under the crossbar into goal. Merih Ünalmış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Camargo during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Morabem EC booed when Morere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Zeca Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morabem EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 29 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Vasconcelos came free, but Florentino Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zeca Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florentino Ospin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Vasconcelos in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Morabem EC's Zeca Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabrício do Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Fabrício do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Morabem EC got a corner. Morere's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ceferino Cordera ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ceferino Cordera made a great header on Morabem EC's corner, it was just that Morere's Fabrício do Nascimento managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Morere's zone, Zeca Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício do Nascimento came out of the goal and Zeca Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinho Teles to make the kick off. Claudinho Teles took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício do Nascimento. Fabrício do Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. With a little luck, Morere's Fabrício do Nascimento got control of the ball when Claudinho Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Morabem EC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Camargo came free, but Florentino Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Morabem EC's Claudinho Teles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrício do Nascimento. That made the score 0-9 after 58 minutes of play. Morere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Zeca Esteves scored to the left of an out of position Fabrício do Nascimento, making the score, 0-10. Zeca Esteves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised Fabrício do Nascimento 71 minutes into the match. Morabem EC made a substitution. Christian Gomes replaced Mané Nascimento. With a little luck, Morere's Fabrício do Nascimento got control of the ball when Claudinho Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes Morere got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Quadros. Fabrício do Nascimento was a little too slow when Zeca Esteves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-12. Claudinho Teless short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Fabrício do Nascimento to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 91 minutes into the match, Zeca Esteves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabrício do Nascimento, 0-13. With his leg Fabrício do Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Morabem EC's Claudinho Teles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Morabem EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
