Spectators: 6907 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 75) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. GATO GALATICO's Miguel Pinheiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 14th minute, Danilo Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Velasco. GATO GALATICO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fabiano Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodolfo Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ademir Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabiano Martins succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind GATO GALATICO's goalkeeper Rodolfo Velasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 26 in the game by Fabiano Martins from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Velasco managed to make a qualified save. GATO GALATICO's players were relieved. The throw-in from Fernando Hoffmann in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GATO GALATICO's Miguel Pinheiro. In the 31st minute Fabiano Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Luís Eduardo de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Águia Real FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GATO GALATICO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Miguel Pinheiro hit a great ball. Águia Real FC's Gláuber Lopes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rodolfo Velasco but with some difficulty. Willian Donatello hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Rodolfo Velasco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gláuber Lopes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Fabiano Martins made the kick off in the second half. If Fabiano Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Ferraz scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luís Eduardo de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 72 minutes into the game, Águia Real FC's Ademir Ferraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in GATO GALATICO's zone, Ademir Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Velasco came out of the goal and Ademir Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Fabiano Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Fernando Hoffmann threw the ball into play from the sideline. GATO GALATICO's Manoel Bertassi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fernando Hoffmann got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Águia Real FC's Fernando Hoffmann got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Luís Eduardo de Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Velasco. GATO GALATICO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Fabiano Martins sped through GATO GALATICO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Velasco. 95 minutes into the game, Fiori Alves threw the ball into play from the sideline. GATO GALATICO's Willian Donatello quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 96 played minutes GATO GALATICO got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Bertassi. When the referee ended the match the Águia Real FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
