After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tales Esteves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Esteves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Federico Cebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Torre's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristiano Loureiro 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Leonardo Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Torre getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Davi Xavier hit a great ball. Pedrinho Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Xavier in the 31st minute of the match. Torre's Davi Xavier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mauricio Haitz, made in the 35th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Cebo got free with Dedé Ceresso in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Sílvio Luiz de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torre's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 played minutes Torre got a freekick which was hit by Allan Amaral. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Torre's Dedé Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Esteves in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Torre's zone, Federico Cebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedé Ceresso came out of the goal and Federico Cebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Cristiano Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedé Ceresso. Torre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Torre's Sílvio Luiz de Castro got a free kick in the 87th minute. Dedé Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Malinha FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Torre had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
