Conrado Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Junior fresh prince fc getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Conrado Dias hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Wilton de Lima reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rubens Arce. The goal made the score 1-0. C.R. Vallongo's Anísio Matorin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilton de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Natanael Leão's late challenge caught a C.R. Vallongo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natanael Leão helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Junior fresh prince fc fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Junior fresh prince fc's Rubens Arce got control of the ball when Anísio Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anísio Matorin to make the kick off. When Anísio Matorin came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the C.R. Vallongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Matorin couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Wilton de Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Palmeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Luiz Fabiano Cruz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Junior fresh prince fc's zone, Anísio Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Arce came out of the goal and Anísio Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rubens Arce came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by C.R. Vallongo's Wilton de Lima. But to his dismay, Wilton de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 71 minutes into the match, Junior fresh prince fc's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton de Lima came free, but Rubens Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Anísio Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rubens Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo Amaral's late challenge caught a Junior fresh prince fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Gustavo Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, C.R. Vallongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Luiz Fabiano Cruz made a huge save. If Anísio Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Arce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Matorin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, C.R. Vallongo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo Amaral to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Dias got free with Luiz Fabiano Cruz in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.R. Vallongo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
