Spectators: 7596 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1747, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anísio Matorin started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.R. Vallongo's Anísio Matorin got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 10 minutes, Wilton de Lima made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. S.E YAGOSHOW's José Paulo Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos de Salles hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Narciso Tande hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, S.E YAGOSHOW's Pedro Luís Paes tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes Pedro Luís Paes shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Luiz Fabiano Cruz when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. A hard and well directed shot from Pedro Luís Paes led 15 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. C.R. Vallongo's Luiz Fabiano Cruz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Chiquinho Mesquita hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Wilton de Lima notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of S.E YAGOSHOW's José Paulo Cunha. José Paulo Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giovani Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luiz Fabiano Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Anísio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anísio Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Matorin in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Paulo Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anísio Matorin took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Cunha. José Paulo Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.

The wind increased when Chiquinho Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. C.R. Vallongo's Anísio Matorin came free and shot a quick shot against goal 55 minutes in the game, fortunately José Paulo Cunha had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 56th minute of the match C.R. Vallongo got a corner. S.E YAGOSHOW's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anísio Matorin ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Dalmo Perez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. José Paulo Cunha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Wilton de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E YAGOSHOW's Chiquinho Mesquita got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes S.E YAGOSHOW got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Veiga. After 70 played minutes C.R. Vallongo got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Tande. Chiquinho Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Luiz Fabiano Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.E YAGOSHOW. Wilton de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When C.R. Vallongo's Wilton de Lima in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E YAGOSHOW's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the match, S.E YAGOSHOW's goalkeeper José Paulo Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos de Salles. José Paulo Cunha was a little too slow when Wilton de Lima got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-6. Wilian Guedes's late challenge caught a S.E YAGOSHOW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilian Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. 97 minutes into the game, one of C.R. Vallongo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave S.E YAGOSHOW a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pedro Luís Paes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.R. Vallongo's Luiz Fabiano Cruz. 2-6. C.R. Vallongo played a much better game than S.E YAGOSHOW and deserved their victory. The S.E YAGOSHOW players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
