Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Dias in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teodoro Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ademar Antunes made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Ivo Loyola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parahyba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Junior fresh prince fc the free kick. In the 13th minute, Ivo Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th match minute, Junior fresh prince fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Dias to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Junior fresh prince fc's zone, Falcão de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubens Arce came out of the goal and Falcão de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Palmeira got free with Ademar Antunes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Régis Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junior fresh prince fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Eusébio Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusébio Palmeira to make the kick off. Fabinho Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ademar Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Teodoro Valladares could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Rubens Arce however easily saved by the left post. Manuel Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Parahyba's Manuel Silva got a free kick in the 67th minute. Fabinho Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Parahyba's zone, Fabinho Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ademar Antunes came out of the goal and Fabinho Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusébio Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ademar Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Junior fresh prince fc. Parahyba's Ademar Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Palmeira in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Parahyba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Christiano Xavier hit a great ball. Ademar Antunes came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Junior fresh prince fc's Eusébio Palmeira. But to his dismay, Eusébio Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Parahyba's Ivo Loyola got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 91 played minutes Parahyba got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Loyola. Parahyba's Ademar Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Palmeira in the 93rd minute of play.
