Rafael Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Márcio Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 24 played minutes Umber FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Galvão. Márcio Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilberto Ferreira in the 26th minute. PIX COMCU's Márcio Moura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save PIX COMCU from getting a goal against them. After having played for 40 minutes, Jorginho Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIX COMCU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Umber FC's zone, Diego Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Meireles came out of the goal and Diego Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Ferreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Pimenta hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Waldemar Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umber FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldemar Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorginho Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes PIX COMCU got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Matorin. After a rather tough play, Umber FC's Diogo Tinoco got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Umber FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Matorin came free, but Rafael Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PIX COMCU's Eurico Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorginho Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Rafael Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Meireles made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alberto Souto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eurico Batista got free with Rafael Meireles in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Eurico Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to PIX COMCU getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marcus Ramalho hit a great ball.
