Jean Goiano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Chiquinho Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E YAGOSHOW's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademar Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Paulo Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Chiquinho Mesquita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Parahyba's Ademar Antunes. Ademar Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The S.E YAGOSHOW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After the first half S.E YAGOSHOW were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Teodoro Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Parahyba's Teodoro Valladares in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.E YAGOSHOW's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Edu Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E YAGOSHOW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edu Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, S.E YAGOSHOW's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Valladares came free, but José Paulo Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pedro Luís Paes fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E YAGOSHOW's protests and gave Pedro Luís Paes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to S.E YAGOSHOW getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Pedro Luís Paes hit a great ball. Ademar Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Parahyba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Silva to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Chiquinho Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Paulo Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Chiquinho Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ademar Antunes was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Chiquinho Mesquita spun around in front of the goal 71 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Parahyba's goal. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing S.E YAGOSHOW would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
