Giovanni Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Entretenimento Fc's André Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Entretenimento Fc booed when Pangarés FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Pilarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jânio Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pangarés FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jânio Prestes couldn't finish the play. After 20 minutes, Valdemar Perez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Entretenimento Fc's Fiori Faria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pangarés FC's Cacá Alcântara got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Fiori Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiori Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Perez in the 31st minute of the match. Fiori Faria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilmar Costa's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Pangarés FC's Cacá Alcântara pulled a muscle in his leg after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 40 played minutes Entretenimento Fc got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Esteves. Pangarés FC's Norberto Coelho was substituted for Cacá Alcântara. In the 42nd match minute, Entretenimento Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Esteves to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Valdemar Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pangarés FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fiori Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilmar Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Entretenimento Fc's Fiori Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Prestes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jânio Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Faria having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Perez in the 61st minute of play forced Entretenimento Fc's goalkeeper Fiori Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Fiori Faria managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Pangarés FC's Jânio Prestes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Afonso Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 70th minute André Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Perez in the 77th minute of the match. If Afonso Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Valdemar Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Agostinho Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Entretenimento Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Perez came free, but Fiori Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fiori Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's Valdemar Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Faria narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
