Umber FC's Rafael Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Esteves in the 21st minute of play. Rafael Meireles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tales Esteves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Diogo Tinoco charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Tinoco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Umber FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Tinoco. After 40 played minutes Umber FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Ferreira. Umber FC's Rafael Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Umber FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Umber FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lucas Teixeira hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Ferreira to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Marquinhos Terra put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Umber FC booed when Malinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Flávio Dante shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho Cearense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Lucas Teixeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedrinho Cearense. The goal made the score 2-2. After 66 minutes, Agnaldo Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Umber FC and the Malinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristiano Loureiro's late challenge caught a Umber FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Lucas Teixeira hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
