Vallongo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anísio Matorin couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Mauro Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedé Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fabiano Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anísio Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of C.R. Vallongo booed when Torre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Donato Esteves in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.R. Vallongo's Armandinho Siqueira. In the 33rd minute of the match Narciso Tande sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé Ceresso skillfully saved the ball. If Dorian Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Matorin in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dedé Ceresso saved Torre from getting behind. Torre's Dedé Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Nogueira in the 39th minute of play. Davi Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Allan Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Leonardo Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Torre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.R. Vallongo were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Leonardo Moreira made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Siqueira during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 52 minutes into the game, one of C.R. Vallongo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dedé Ceresso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute Leonardo Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anísio Matorin took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedé Ceresso. Dedé Ceresso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 70 minutes into the match, Anísio Matorin notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Torre's Dedé Ceresso. Dedé Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes in the game Dalmo Perez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anísio Matorin. Dorian Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedé Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anísio Matorin went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Torre's Dedé Ceresso got control of the ball when Anísio Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dedé Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Nogueira in the 87th minute of play. In the 94th minute Dorian Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.R. Vallongo's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Davi Xavier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fabiano Cruz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Torre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.R. Vallongo's performance. The match ended with a win for C.R. Vallongo.
