Sebastião Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rafael Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrézinho Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Ferreira's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Rafael Meireles came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea's Sebastião Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Sebastião Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Sebastião Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Pinheiro couldn't finish the play. Andrézinho Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rafael Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Pinheiro in the 25th minute. When Ademar Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave Ademar Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Edu do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umber FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu do Vale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrézinho Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu do Vale in the 38th minute of play. Andrézinho Soares came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Umber FC's Lucas Teixeira. But to his dismay, Lucas Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luisinho Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Soares having to interfere. Edu do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Noel Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Chelsea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Umber FC were winning 1-2.

Chelsea's Andrézinho Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu do Vale in the 89th minute of play. After 94th play minutes Edu do Vale shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Andrézinho Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. Diogo Tinoco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Andrézinho Soares made a huge save.
