Afonso Gerber started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute André Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Afonso Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrézinho Soares. Chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonso Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andrézinho Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Luís Guilherme Damião got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Barral in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Soares saved Chelsea from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Pinheiro got free with Fiori Faria in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, Noel Secco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fiori Faria. Noel Secco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, Entretenimento Fc's goalkeeper Fiori Faria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Pinheiro. Andrézinho Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Barral in the 25th minute of the match. If André Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastião Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiori Faria having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlindo Xavier during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Entretenimento Fc got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Xavier. Entretenimento Fc's Fiori Faria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Entretenimento Fc from getting a goal against them. Andrézinho Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Barral in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Entretenimento Fc's André Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Andrézinho Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, André Barral notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Chelsea's Andrézinho Soares. Andrézinho Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Chelsea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Entretenimento Fc were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noel Secco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afonso Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Soares having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Entretenimento Fc's Afonso Gerber dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Entretenimento Fc's Arlindo Xavier got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Arlindo Xavier off the ground. Arlindo Xavier hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Soares made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when André Barral sent off a good shot on target. Entretenimento Fc's Válbson de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Válbson de Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrézinho Soares having to make a save. Andrézinho Soares made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when André Barral sent off a good shot on target. Agostinho Hermes struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Andrézinho Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Entretenimento Fc.
