After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Didi de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torre's supporters rose to their feet, but Didi de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davi Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diamantino Oliveira during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Pangarés FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonardo Moreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Jaime Peres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pangarés FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Didi de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Moreira came free, but Afonso Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Leonardo Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dedé Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Paiva in the 43rd minute of the match. If João Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pangarés FC booed when Torre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão Paiva was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goal looked a bit too open when Davi Xavier came free, but Afonso Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Ceresso having to interfere. A collision led to Torre getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Allan Amaral hit a great ball. Falcão Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dedé Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão Paiva's late challenge caught a Torre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falcão Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute Didi de Lara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pangarés FC's Afonso Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Moreira in the 75th minute of play. After 80 minutes of play, Torre's Davi Xavier made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, João Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
