After having played for 31 minutes, Afonso Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Entretenimento Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Afonso Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiori Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Valladares in the 37th minute of play. Falcão de Senna struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Fiori Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parahyba. Afonso Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Antunes having to interfere. Parahyba's Ademar Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Gerber in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Parahyba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Gerber made a kick off. Ademar Antunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Barral's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Ivo Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fiori Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fiori Faria made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Teodoro Valladares sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Falcão de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 75th minute when Teodoro Valladares elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. André Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Barral in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ademar Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, Entretenimento Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Teodoro Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Parahyba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Fiori Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão de Senna in the 91st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Parahyba defense, Afonso Gerber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Antunes. The Parahyba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Antunes should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Parahyba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
