Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Waldemar Perez got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Daniel Rocha got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Mazza got free with Vito Saldanha in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vito Saldanha came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Coxilha's Válbson Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Válbson Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Celsinho Linares took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Vito Saldanha to make any attempt to save it. Válbson Ribeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vito Saldanha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vito Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Vito Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Válbson Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Manfredo Peres's late challenge caught a Coxilha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo Peres helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Coxilha booed when S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA defense, Válbson Ribeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Saldanha. The S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Saldanha should have stopped the shot. Jeferson Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Tony Trancoso. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Waldemar Perez put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tiago Ribeiro. Coxilha's Tiago Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Marquez in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Vito Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Ribeiro. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Válbson Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. Vito Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Ribeiro in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Jeferson Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coxilha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 57 played minutes S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Rodrigues. In the 58th minute of the match Jeferson Mazza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vito Saldanha skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Dieguinho Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Manfredo Peres got a free kick in the 62nd minute. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA were furious when Daniel Rocha was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Coxilha a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jeferson Mazza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's Vito Saldanha. 5-1. After a rather tough play, Coxilha's Narciso de Amorim got a free kick in the 67th minute. Vito Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Ribeiro in the 72nd minute of the match. If Dráusio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Mazza in the 77th minute of play forced S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Vito Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute Válbson Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elói Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Válbson Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Vito Saldanha. S C CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Dráusio Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tiago Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coxilha's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
