A very good chance. The supporters of Velez do Jockey FC booed when CONSULTORIA X6 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CONSULTORIA X6's zone, Serafim Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Ferreira came out of the goal and Serafim Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes, Alexsandro Pimenta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CONSULTORIA X6 and the Velez do Jockey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, one of CONSULTORIA X6:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Velez do Jockey FC's Cléber de Queirós got control of the ball when João Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. CONSULTORIA X6's Davi Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafim Severo in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, CONSULTORIA X6 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Velez do Jockey FC's Ricardinho Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when João Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. Davi Ferreira acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ricardinho Dionísio. CONSULTORIA X6's Davi Ferreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save CONSULTORIA X6 from getting a goal against them. Danilo Novaes hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Serafim Severo's late challenge caught a CONSULTORIA X6's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafim Severo helped the player get up and apologised. Michel Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. João Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Cléber de Queirós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CONSULTORIA X6. A collision led to CONSULTORIA X6 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Telmo Valladares hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Velez do Jockey FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Sena. In the 82nd minute, Olavo Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davi Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Paulo Renato Gaspar sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Percival Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davi Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafim Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Velez do Jockey FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
