Léo Vieira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nildo de Queiroz having to make a save. Acácio Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rony Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Dorian Arantes in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Capatara AD's Andrézinho Breckenfeld. Léo Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nildo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Toledo in the 28th minute of play forced Capatara AD's goalkeeper Rony Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Capatara AD's goalkeeper Rony Alvarenga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Breno Mandrak kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Toledo in the 35th minute of play forced Capatara AD's goalkeeper Rony Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Capatara AD's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Toledo came free, but Rony Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frédson Favoretto got free with Rony Alvarenga in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the game, Luisão Braga threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capatara AD's Andrézinho Breckenfeld quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 65th minute Léo Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Xeq Matt booed when Capatara AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber França didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Cléber França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The nice shot from Gildo Toledo in the 79thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rony Alvarenga had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Acácio Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Vieira during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Acácio Lira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rony Alvarenga. That made the score 1-1 in the 88 minute of play.
