The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Mendonça in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Fontes saved Social Futebol Clube from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Social Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Lara came free, but Valdemar Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Mendonça in the 15th minute of play. If Arthur Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zé Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. CONSULTORIA X6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson de Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. After having played for 86 minutes, Arthur Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CONSULTORIA X6's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdemar Fontes made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when João Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Social Futebol Clube's Valdemar Fontes got control of the ball when João Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. CONSULTORIA X6 played a much better game than Social Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Social Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
