Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arrebol SS's Eusébio Salles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodriguinho de Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mirity EC's zone, Diamantino Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabinho Veloso came out of the goal and Diamantino Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Mirity EC's goalkeeper Fabinho Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márcio Varela. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Brodel in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mário Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mirity EC's Fabinho Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Mirity EC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Chaves in the 19th minute of play forced Arrebol SS's goalkeeper Mário Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Cosme hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Eusébio Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabinho Veloso. The goal made the score 1-0. Mário Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho de Salles in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Mirity EC got a corner. Arrebol SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tarcisio Brodel ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute, Samuel do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Victor Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirity EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Rodriguinho de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Trancoso having to interfere. Tarcisio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tarcisio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tarcisio Brodel was the one to do the kick off. When Rodriguinho de Salles came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mirity EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodriguinho de Salles couldn't finish the play. In the 52nd match minute, Arrebol SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Zonta to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Arrebol SS's goalkeeper Mário Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Chaves. 58 minutes into the game, Tarcisio Brodel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mário Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirity EC's Tarcisio Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabinho Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Varela in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Mirity EC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nico de Amaral hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Arrebol SS's Ronaldinho da Mata in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 78 minutes into the match, Arrebol SS's goalkeeper Mário Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Chaves. José Maria Trancoso hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. A collision led to Arrebol SS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vítor Queirós hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Victor Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirity EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Mirity EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Queirós came free, but Fabinho Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mário Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
