After a rather tough play, Baviera FC's Luís Fábio França got a free kick in the 6th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Baviera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Brodel came free, but Bebeto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baviera FC's Bebeto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tarcisio Brodel in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Baviera FC's Tadeu Leal got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bebeto Paraense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Victor Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bebeto Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sidnei Sena was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mirity EC! Fabinho Veloso had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Tião Pitta's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bebeto Paraense made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Rodriguinho de Salles sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Baviera FC's Tadeu Leal got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Baviera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel do Nascimento came free, but Bebeto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebeto Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel do Nascimento in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Baviera FC's zone, Samuel do Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Paraense came out of the goal and Samuel do Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Paraíba to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Erasmo de Toledo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Baviera FC's Basílio Pinheiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Samuel do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fabinho Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabinho Veloso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ciro Leal. Bebeto Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel do Nascimento in the 68th minute of the match. Baviera FC's Bebeto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo de Toledo in the 69th minute of play. Bebeto Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel do Nascimento in the 72nd minute of play. Samuel do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Bebeto Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirity EC. The supporters of Mirity EC booed when Baviera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baviera FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Paraense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Samuel do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mirity EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the match, Mirity EC's Rodriguinho de Salles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bebeto Paraense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Mirity EC booed when Baviera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Mirity EC were the better team. Mirity EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
